Then there are investigative reporters like Jesse Ventura and his interesting "Conspiracy Theories' shows
(all on You Tube) and veteranstoday.com which attempts to tell the truth about various foreign intrigues. And authors like Peter Levenda and Jim Maars who did deep into conspiracies.

Then there are the Think Tanks which are nothing more than propaganda mills mostly run and funded by the Koch brothers, which daily spew out the talking points of fanatical RW'ers.

It was LBJ, the CIA, and the Pentagon. Cuban exiles definitely played a part. JFK fired Allen Dulles, a CIA sacred cow, because Dulles tried to trick JFK into invading Cuba. The Joint-Chiefs of Staff came to JFK with Operation Northwoods, a false-flag terrorist attack against Americans that they would blame on Cuba - JFK was horrified and rejected it. JFK was drafting executive policies to reverse our increasing military commitment to Vietnam. JFK gave a speech effectively saying the Cold War needed to end. Basically, JFK was planning to fundamentally reform the "military-industrial complex" that Eisenhower warned Americans about, so a cabal from within the bowels of the MIC had him killed. And then they killed MLK Jr. and RFK, and probably some others like Malcolm X and Thomas Merton. But most Americans are too horrified by the thought, so they simply reject it and find some other more soothing explanation. That's usually how the big lie works. It's too awful to believe.

What actually happens is that some people simply can't accept the reality that a nobody like Oswald could change history, so they have to believe in some dark, malevolent, very powerful entity standing behind the curtain pulling the strings.
