Charles Krauthammer has just weeks to live.

Krauthammer was the political commentator I respected the most. He isn’t a partisan hack like so many others. He was a staunch conservative and wasn’t afraid to call out politicos on all sides. We need more like him. Sadly, it’s not likely to happen.

Sad. I had heard some time ago that he was ill. He's had more than his share of challenges in life. Although I don't necessarily agree with his politics, I admire his gumption. I hope his death is peaceful.

He never complained about the bad hand he was dealt. He just knew that was part of life. You gotta take the bad with the good.

    I respect the guy.

Not one ounce of partisan hack in him.

Of all the political commentators he is by far the most intelligent.

    Admirable man.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

He was hospitalized almost a year ago.

He is an icon of conservative thought / theory. He was up there with William Buckley.

I just learned of his passing a short time ago, on Fox News' Special Report.

It really was not a surprise; but it was, nonetheless, shocking to the system.

Apparently (from what I heard of him) he was a very good and decent man.

    May he rest in peace.

R.I.P. I don’t watch a lot of TV but when Charles was on “The Panel” at 6:40 every work night for 20 minutes, I would record it. His wit and insight was great.
