Nice to see referendums at work. That said, people tend to support them based on the particular issue. The flip side is the argument that we aren’t a democracy and the people should have their reps vote on these issues.

A majority of companies could care less whether or not their employees paid dues or not since it has no impact on their business directly.

Finally, the decision handed down by SCOTUS impacts public sector unions alone and not private sector unions.
Those public sector unions and right to work states have options Union shops however, everyone that I ever worked for or was around that had specific trade employment required memberbship and dues payments by contract. Office people and others at the were either in other unions or were non union.

Goonions. No, the trend hasn't changed. Goonions among the WORKING class are fading out.

Goonions among government parasite workers are going strong.

Claire McKaskill is still going to be thrown out of office. And the will be after she votes to confirm Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh.
You haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about.

In that context, is it really surprising that the voters of Missouri voted 2 to 1 to overturn a major restriction on unions? The Supreme Court can rule what they want, but the more they rule against labor in this social environment, the more they will only prove their institution undemocratic in nature and themselves to be what they are: corrupt cronies of the rather unpopular corporate world who deserve to be replaced and to have their institution democratized (i.e. rendered elected, not appointed) and to have their "right" of judicial review abolished until such time.
    Very well said.

Question for the forum, should I report this arrogant little twerp or should I simply put him on ignore? He never has anything to say anyway.

What the hell, I think I will cover all my bases and do both.

In the meantime companies will be relocating out of Missouri.
That decision only applies to public unions I believe.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

You certainly believe in forced labor for no return of value.
