WASHINGTON — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said at her weekly press conference Thursday she personally would support lowering the national voting age to 16

What?

“I myself, personally, I’m not speaking for my caucus, I myself have always been for lowering the voting age to 16,” Pelosi said when asked by The Daily Caller about her thoughts on the issue. “I think it’s really important to capture kids when they’re in high school when they’re interested in all of this when they’re learning about government to be able to vote.”

It's really important to....."capture kids when they're in high school", Nancy?

Why would you be calling them kids, Nancy? Perhaps because.....they are??!! You want to allow 16 year old's to vote? You're just admitting that they're kids....ie….naïve and immature....and yet you want to "capture" their vote. They cannot carry nor own a firearm or even purchase cigarettes. They cannot purchase alcohol, serve in the military, they're seen as minors if charged with anything.....and you wish to allow them to vote?

We should have the same age for voting as when children are no longer eligible to be carried on their parents' health insurance.
