You sometimes talk as though the whole world are just Russian, American and possibly Chinese states. Spoiler alert, they aren't.

They are welfare states until the money runs out. Then they're dead.Southern Africa is a lost cause. Nothing is going to save them.

So, we learn that Republican-style government corruption is a huge problem in Africa. And just like the Republicans here, they claim political persecution when they get caught, knowing that their corrupt base will back them up.

The lesson to take from that is that no one should ever ever elect any Repubican anywhere. Sure, there are a few Republicans aren't corrupt and treasonous. However, hoping that we get one that isn't corrupt is a risk that's not worth taking. Do you really want the USA to end up like Africa?

Actually, that is a large part of it. Huge, bloated and self-serving bureaucracies retard development in Africa. Now it's cute that you think Africans should still be hunting and gathering (nothing racist there...lol) but that has that air of unreality most of your ideals have.

I was talking about growing their own food not the stone age. Maybe even crops suitable for the region! Better than depending on a other countries and questionable distribution for a daily staple.

Africa's agriculture was in a very good shape upon independence so I don't know what you mean by "crops suitable for the region". Africa's shortages have political origins.

Africa is a $#@! hole. The people there are good with just getting by. They have no itncentive to innovate, the governments there are corrupt, there is no infrastructure, things are very tribal and education is not valued.

They are in the process of destroying the only formerly developed country on the continent. BTW that is mainly due to unrestricted immigration into SA.

Well, the woman in the video is an entrepreneur so she innovates, but as she complains, she is hampered by over regulation by a huge bureaucracy. Bureaucracy lends itself to corrption. Overregulation in red tape makes it hard to start up new businesses.

They can innovate. I am personally involved in a non-profit there.

Africa has a huge hurdle to conquer that the US and Europe never had- its unforgiving geography. Toss in corrupt governments and there you go.

Actually, African enterprise is often about how to control and/or exploit other Africans, and that goes back time immemorial. From what I read, they got nothin' on anyone else on the planet, and don't let blacks in this country tell you they do. They are among the oldest slavers in the world, and humans are one of their oldest commodities.
