I'm pretty sure the law still frowns on shooting teenagers over "spilled milk".

We are hardly talking about "spilled milk" and whether they are teens or adults is irrelevant. Actions have consequences. If they choose to engage in a certain course of action,t hey should be willing to accept whatever those consequences are. I think anyone who violate the property of another should be subject to whatever consequences the property owner sees fit.

Store owners just need to start shooting a few of them. Eventually, it may sink in that stealing from other people is not such a good idea.

With a mob of 60 people, there should be plenty of targets.

Have to wonder if they could electrify the outbound 'inventory control' stations, so that the two zapped people as they walked out with stolen goods.... don't mind me, wandering thoughts.....

Tell you what will happen. Walgrens will close this store and move it a half mile up the road to a safer neighborhood.

A few years ago, there was a news story about a proposed big box store in a certain neighborhood - I seem to recall it was in or near D.C. - and a local politician, Black, opposed it on the grounds that, she said, the people in her community would (paraphrasing, but close) not be able to resist the temptation to steal from it.

You cannot shoot people for petty theft and vandalism if you are not endangered. Well you can, if you to are willing to pay the price.

Not sure how many of these fine upstanding people attacked the employees, but I would hazard to say if you were an employee and multiple people attacked you by throwing things at you causing injury you could be justified in shooting your attackers. Now if you shoot a kid running out the door with a bag of chips that would be completely different.

They put an urban WalMart in near Union Station in DC. That place has at least a half dozen uniformed security at all times. I imagine they also have undercover security. Plus eye in the sky style video cams everywhere.

If there are black people they are violent. No matter where they are. They will be violent even in the courttoom.
