Also killed in the attack were U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith.

The intelligence officials said that within 25 minutes of being alerted to the attack in a desperate phone call, the CIA rushed a half-dozen security operatives to the mission from a secret base about a mile away.

"Mission" used this way means diplomatic mission .. a consulte or embassy.
The state department is responsible for ambassadors and embassies

No it means the state department is trying to shift blame for their incompetence

One minute into your video gives you exactly what you had been asking. He told you what he did as soon as he heard of the attacks. He did not say that he didn't deny aid, because for him to say so, would imply that someone else did. The next question would have been "Who then denied that aid?"...and blah, blah, blah

That's not what a president does. His answer was delivered carefully and correctly.

Don't you think that there is just a bit of 20/20 hindsight and Monday morning quarterbacking going on here? Lots if shudda-wudda-cuddas? I would guess that in the heat of that attack, there was mis-communications, confusion and panic. This is what causes questions that later morph into conspiracy theories. Cary makes a valid point. Alternative perspectives and additional considerations are just as viable.
