I didn't know she was still around. I never found her to be particularly funny on her own. She surrounded herself with funny people she could sometimes stumble into a line or two bouncing off what they were setting up.

She had some success until she starting being political. People that are mildly talented always seem to overplay their hand.

The reason the left is failing isn't idiotic homophobic tweets by comedians. The left is failing because a large portion of the electorate think they are victims and have succumbed to fear based populismand simplistic rhetoric.

That's your interpretation of it. I'd say many on the left are just dumbfounded at how so many have fallen for empty rhetoric and incompetence.

You can say snowflake all you wish, but it seems that it's many on the right who see themselves as victims. That's why so many fell for the fear based empty and simplistic rhetoric.

I find it incredible that the left does not see what happened in the last election.

The only recovery there was under the Obama administration was to the top 10% of the population that was able to take advantage of the 8 year fire sale that was the economy under democrat leadership. YES the stock market bounced back, but who did that help. Those on a fixed income that were retired were too scared to re enter the market and did not have the benefit or riding that market back up.

Because of the fear that is spread about the markets by the Democrats, many if not most of the are scared of it, and those even in there retirement plans were to worried to diversify properly, and while they did see some gains did not get the full benefit. Those that did invest properly only saw recovery, and the Obama Administration really did not see a lot of gain over the former high of the market.

Because of this, while some economic numbers did show promising sign, but that was not felt on main street or by the common family. So while the Democrats were singing Happy Days are here again, their base was saying Not in my nape of the wave. Or in other words the old saying, It's the Economy Stupid rang true.

During the election Mrs. Clinton promised more of the same, and doubling down on regulations that were hurting business expansion and jobs, and increasing taxes on the rich, another thing that would have cod jobs for those that could least afford to do it.

Add to this, the Democrats can't see that illegal workers drive wages down in this country, and the worker on main street has to deal with this each and every day. And anyone that really wants to think about this can see why they are failing on an epic nature.

Add to this, the old Lewis Black saying that Democrats are the party of NO ideas rings true. And until they get a message that is appealing to the blue collar worker, they are going to have some real trouble.

And last all of the things and names that they are calling President Trump don't stand up to the test of time.

His tuff talk we are told is going to make us less safe, but in fact terrorism is less prevalent NK is starting to consider talks. The Russian collusion has totally backfired and now it appears that Hillary was the one in the hen house with Putiin and his gang.

And if things continue to improve, the Democrats are in for a ruff midterm.

You seem to have omitted the financial collapse that Obama inherited from Republican Bush.

The trend of economic growth and recovery has remained the same as it was under Obama. It will be interesting to see the effects of Trump tax cuts though. They primarily reward the rich.

As to Russia, you see things far differently than I do. The investigation isn't over. I'll reserve my judgment until it is.

The midterms will be interesting and certainly an indicator of things to come.

The irony is how the right is cheering for Chelsea getting "slammed" for what she said about Graham, when just a few years ago during the Obama admin., the right was doing their own slamming of Graham's sexuality as well as Barney Frank.
