Iran has a high death rate too. Out of 27017 reported cases, 2077 have died. That's 7.68% by my calculations.

I am not saying these are average death rates world wide. But I think they show why we need to flatten the curve.

I would word it differently. It is 8% of those identified with CV-19. We have no idea how many have been exposed, created antibodies and moved on unaware.

That's true. It may also be true that the true number of CV-19 deaths is under reported due to the inability to confirm with testing.



Once again, I suspect the reason for these high death rates are due to insufficient resources. Not because CV-19 is intractable.

If you are 81 years old +/- then you are in a high risk group.
If you are 50 years or younger then you need to worry about the flu far more the this virus.

The average age of those dead because of the CV-19 is 81. In South Korea it was about 76.
The CDC wants you to blindly follow them, so they hide that facts. I'll depend on data from other countries instead of listening to those losers. They are so jealous that someone else comes up with a treatment that they try to tell people to be cautious. They pretend it does not exist.

Anyone of any age is at high risk of contracting the virus.

20% of those people will have severe symptoms and may need hospitalization.

So you isolate the elderly. Get it! They already have for those in Nursing Homes or Extended Care. The 40 year old is better off with the Corona Virus than the common flu for survival.
