When we're discussing IQ, genetic inheritance and things of that nature progressives are very quick to change course. In fact, they'll do a 180 on a dime.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Anyway, I don;t need a study to tell me this. You would have to extremely naive not to believe "science" is used routinely for polemic and propaganda purposes.

Since our federal government got involved "studies" have become a lucrative business. Anytime the fed involves itself in anything businesses spring up like magic to get that money for nothing. I think there are businesses whose business is to get the fed involved in everything they can then use it as an excuse to front businesses to collect that dough. I think I'll apply for a grant to do a study on it.

There is a lot of politically motivated studies, or legit studies that are only at the hypothesis level, that blindly get passed off as theory or fact.

We need to teach our children how to evaluate the flaws in research and then to ignore any study or science that doesn't list those methods up front. Especially if it's a government or government backed study.

It’s like when someone tells you they are a liar… should you believe them. The fact is that a lot of people pass of as "settled science" their interpretation of whatever tests they do, whatever analysis they do, etc. There's a lot of subjectivity that goes into it.

A lot of us, knowing this, are suspicious that the conclusions reached on climate change have been manipulated for political agendas.

"Climate science" has been caught red handed, manipulating the data too many times over the years for me to take any of it seriously. At the very least, they should hide their deception better.

If most science didn't point out conservatives were wrong about everything, conservatives wouldn't feel so driven to declare science is a liberal plot. But it does, so they do. Hence, this thread.

Modern conservatives are like the Stalinist Lysankoists, who prosecuted any scientist who dared do genetic science that wasn't politically approved by TheParty. You don't see any liberals calling for scientists to be jailed. The two sides are totally different in that regard.

    Can I prove it? Trivially.

The Republican party tried to prosecute Dr. Mann for doing accurate climate science that was inconvenient to the goals of the Republican party.

I've asked conservatives many times if they're willing to condemn such open Stalinism.

They're not. Every conservative I've talked to refuses to condemn the tactic of sending scientists to The Gulag if they do the wrong kind of science, meaning they tacitly support it.

Oh, here's some more Republican science censorship. Again, only one side tries to censor politically inconvenient science, the conservative side. Conservatism is a sort of anti-enlightenment cult.
