Lets see they had Val Kilmer, Christian Bale, and Ben Affleck. Playing Batman. So he should fit Right in.

Oh if Michael Keaton wasn't bad enough. They let him go on to be a villain in Spiderman.

Keaton as The Vulture in Spiderman: Homecoming was great. He is one of those actors who can do comedy, drama, or pretty much whatever is called for. When his casting as Batman was announced, a lot of people remembered his roles in Mr. Mom, Gung Ho, Beetlejuice, etc., and said, "You've got to be kidding". Then a very grim and serious movie called Clean and Sober came out and made believers out of us.

Don't get me wrong. I like Keaton as an actor. Ive seen him do comedy, action, western, Spy thriller, Good guy bad guy. He played Stan Hurley in American Assassin and was great.

When he did Multiplicity. Should've gave people a clue.

You know during Batman.....if his sport team the Pittsburgh Penguins would have went to the playoffs that year. He negotiated a break so he could show up at the games.

I thought he was bad enough and didn't even need to prove himself.

Did you know Keaton's real last name is Douglas? He had to change it when he joined SAG because apparently "Michael Douglas" was taken.
