You tell me. You brought them up. Sorry, but nothing the bible precludes the possibility of life elsewhere. Speaking of silly, now we're talking about ETs?

It wouldn't be up to me to prove that someone's belief in garden fairies is false or irrational, it would be up to the people believing in the garden fairies to prove that it's rational.
I don't believe in garden fairies, Kizz. I believe in creation and God. What is irrational about that? We know that science has no answers for us. Why is my belief in a higher power irrational?

So tell me, why is your belief in god rational?
So you have no idea why you think my faith is irrational? Hey, you said it. Do you often say things you can't articulate a reason for saying?

That's like saying you KNOW God exists.
I have seen the dead. Don't ask me to preach to you. I answered your question. Never took drugs. You won't win with me nor will I try to convince you.

I don't believe in garden fairies, Kizz. I believe in creation and God. What is irrational about that?
It's just as "rational" as believing in garden fairies. I'm sorry you don't like your beliefs run up against things like that, but the truth is that there's nothing any more rational about your belief than people's belief in fairies.
We know that science has no answers for us. Why is my belief in a higher power irrational?
Why is it rational? It's up to YOU to answer, it's not up to me. I say it's irrational, it's up to you to prove it's rational if you want me to believe it's rational, otherwise I'm going to believe it's irrational.
So you have no idea why you think my faith is irrational? Hey, you said it. Do you often say things you can't articulate a reason for saying?
I think it's irrational for people to believe in fairies because it doesn't mesh with reality, I feel the same way about any other supernatural beings--it's irrational to believe in supernatural beings and magic.
Sorry--but I do not accept the idea that being intolerant of intolerance is THE SAME THING as being intolerant of anything else.

    no more ETs?

Sure there is. Why are there no garden fairies in the garden? Surely you should be able to point them out to me. Similarly, we should be able to catch Santa and the Easter bunny in the act. And don't worry about what I like. I have yet to see a intelligent critique of religion.

Right. There should be physical evidence of fairies. Why is it irrational to believe in supernatural beings? Do you know? Who believes in magic?

If someone wants me to believe in God or think that their belief in God is rational, they're going to have to offer proof. It isn't up to me to prove that God doesn't exist.

I mean, prove that the Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't exist. I dare you, try to prove it! You can't! It is up to the person who believes to prove that their belief is rational.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster inhabits the Celestial Teapot.

but you believe i equality without reservation. Get your story straight!

From where did the spaghetti and meatballs come? They can't be timeless. After all, it's spaghetti ad meatballs. Why can't I see this monster? I must be able to. It has a physical form. It consists of wheat, beef and hopefully pork. I'm not seeing the analogy to theism. Can you help?
