Dick Durbin: Blocking Trump's Supreme Court pick more important than red state Dems

Dick Durbin: Blocking Trump's Supreme Court pick more important than red state Dems getting re-elected....

A top Democrat in the Senate said his vulnerable colleagues from red states "understand" that fighting to stop President Trump's Supreme Court pick is more important than getting re-elected in 2018.

Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin, D-Ill., was pressed on this "dilemma" that Democrats face as the 2018 midterms approach during an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press."

"Staying united to stop the Supreme Court pick could cost you red state senators. Not fighting it as hard might allow the red state senators to get re-elected and get Democrats in control of the Senate. That's your dilemma," host Chuck Todd posited on Sunday.

Durbin conceded that it is a dilemma "in one respect," but made that case for how it is a trade off Democrats are willing to make.....snip~

A trade off the Demos are willing to make. Basically telling the Red State Demos.....c-ya. Naturally the Demos telling McConnell to hold off on appointing the Next Justice, will work Right? Even funnier was Schumer telling McConnell to appoint Garland. Then the Demos would be all for it, huh.

They are in trouble either way. Demos are losing support of Latinos and Blacks.

Durban is a hack. He is another lifer that hasn’t done a damn thing to help the middle class his party is losing.
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Just a thought, but why don't they wait until President Trump actually tells us who his nominee is?

Oh that's right Trump could nominate Jesus Christ and the left would still try to block it, especially since HE would probably vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Uhm yep.....the Lame Stream popped a poll that the Demos still have the lead in battleground states. Did that after the polling came out that the Demos were losing Black and Latino support.

The Lame Stream is trying to give them some hope.

Their DNC is 6 mil in debt and took out a loan for operating expenses. While the Repubs are breaking records with the cash flowing in.

But hey its a blue wave.

The Democrats has a comfortable lead in the polls the last time they got creamed in Obama's Mid term elections too.

True.....and because many on the Right. Now throw up their polls back in their face. You see the leftness coming back with a return response. Quote: I thought you didn't believe in polls.

I watched a program, I think it was on One America News, where a female anchor was asking a democrat about the recent increase in support for Trump among Hispanic voters. The democrat argued that polls cannot be believed.

Okay so when polls favor the democrats we have to believe them without question, but when they go against the democrats they cannot be believed.
