I've posted a few posts where pictures have appeared upside down or on their side. When I look at them on my computer or Ipad they look fine. Anybody have any thoughts here? Any way to turn them?

That shouldn't happen. Contact the admin. What you post should appear as posted. This isn't a html thing here. It could have to do with size. Does it do it only on large pictures?

This picture is being posted here, on my screen when I select it, it is proper but it posts sideways -- any ideas?

The picture was probably taken in that orientation i.e. the camera was sideways. To correct it you have to open it in some picture editing software and rotate the image, then save it.
