The North Korea delegation is being led by veteran negotiator Ri Son-gwon, who chairs the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea, a state agency in charge of inter-Korean affairs, South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reported, Fox said. ................. https://www.dailywire.com/news/25482...nd-joseph-curl ............. North Korea has always pursued dialog with South Korea and the USA. North Korea has been asking the US government to enter into peace talks for decades and the US government continually refuses. South Korea's president got elected on a message of pursuing peace through dialog, which is the exact opposite strategy promoted by US officialdom. In reality, it is the belligerent US government that is on the outside looking in, even as it tries to take responsibility for anything that resembles a positive development.

No they have not. When I was there, the NKs would slam the table and refuse to agree to anything.

That's because the US government never negotiates in good faith and never makes reasonable offers that other countries can accept. It's basically "my way or the highway" when you're dealing with the arrogant imperialists.

The United States has occupied the Korean Peninsula for decades ensuring South Korean security, stability for Japan and the entire Pacific rim to include the South China Sea. Ethereal's post is quite preposterous. the 180 of reality

What nonsense. We have a team of negotiators ready in Korea all the time. North Korea has never sought a peace treaty. They only talk to us when they need to con us in some way.

You need to read a decent history of the Korean War and its aftermath.

You do know the North started the war right? You do know they have never agreed to a peace treaty?
