One of these kits should be good for 3 meals. It comes with the seasonings. Of course you can buy all of the ingredients separately and probably for less, but this just makes it simpler.
Cooking larger amounts of stew or chili in a slow cooker or an Instapot and freezing them in single portions is also an option and quite economical.
