It usually happens when the site is experiencing issues which prevent it from loading properly. My personal website sometimes looks like that when the host is under a denial of service (DoS) attack. Clearing Firefox's cache may solve the problem.

    Clear the cookies and cache

Firefox caches websites, which means it saves some files on your machine so that it doesn't have to re-download everything when you visit sites. If a website has updated their code, Firefox may still be using some of the old code along with some of the new, which can make a web page display incorrectly. To fix this, you need to clear the cookies and cache:
    1. Click the Library button , click History and select Clear Recent History….
    2. In the Time Range to clear: drop-down, select Everything.
    3. Click the arrow next to Details to display the list of items that can be cleared.
    4. Select both Cookies and Cache.
    5. Click Clear Now.

I use to use Opera- loved it. It was bought by a Chinese company. Once I found out I immediately deleted it from all of my devices. I am certain Opera is now a spy device for China.

Looks fine to me. Sounds like you may have the same problem as Kasper - a cached version of the site that got stuck. Try clearing your browser history.

I guess the only other options are to restore your defaults and failing that, reinstall your browser.

Did you shut the site down afterwards? You need to do that to make changes appear.

I checked jut now and it's fine. Could have been a server problem.

I think you are confused. It was a problem I experienced only when coming to tPF from that one computer using firefox. FIne on other browsers, other sites, and other computers, I don't run any websites.
