Feinstein blames 'bad cold' for handling of Fusion GPS transcript

Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein seemed to blame a “bad cold” for the controversial way she handled the release of an interview transcript for the co-founder of the firm behind the anti-Trump dossier.
The California senator and top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee drew the ire of committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, earlier this week for publishing the transcript without consulting him.

She told an NBC News reporter that she regrets not speaking to Grassley beforehand, citing her cold as a possible factor.

"The one regret I have is that I should have spoke with Senator Grassley before. And I don't make an excuse but I've had a bad cold and maybe that slowed down my mental facilities a little bit,” she said, according to a tweet from a fellow NBC producer.

WOW so a sitting Senator says the common cold slowed down her mental facilities, Lets hope she doesn't get the flu then Lord only knows what she would happen.......

She needs to be immediately removed from the committee. Her security clearance needs to be revoked. She needs to be investigated for her criminal release of privileged information.

Or perhaps she should have just cherry picked the stuff that suited her agenda and leaked it like the Republicans did.

Any defense of Feinstein pulling this is laughable there is no defense. She knows it and tried to blow it off on a cold.

That's exactly what she did. She redacted a lot of the testimony. Still want to defend her?

She just regretted not talkingto Chuck about it first. No reference to the cold made her release the transcripts. Quite the opposite contained here in her own words.

If the Republicans will stop telling lies about the Democrats, we will stop telling the truth about them.
