Red face Romney: For it Before He was Against it

Romney Attended Pro-Choice Fundraiser In 1995

By Alex Seitz-Wald posted from ThinkProgress Special Topic on Apr 9, 2012 at 1:38 pm
By now, it’s well known that while presumed GOP nominee Mitt Romney says he wants to “get rid of Planned Parenthood” and curtail women’s rights, he was once a staunch defender of the right to choose. He even attended a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood in 1994, to whom his wife once wrote for $150.

Now, Buzz Feed digs up a photo of Romney at another fundraiser for a pro-choice group, this one of Romney at the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (MWPC) awards ceremony in 1995:
The MWPC is the state affiliate of the National Women’s Political Caucus, which was founded by feminist Gloria Steinem. The group lists “[r]eproductive freedoms and the right to choice” as one of its top priorities and “prides itself in increasing the number of pro-choice women elected and appointed into office every year.”

Kennedy just kicked his ass. He needed to become a shapeshifter, in order to win anything in Massachusetts.

Of course. If you don't like his position on something, just wait a few minutes. It'll change.

Yes, depressing isn't it? One individual with no compass in the White House, another of the same wanting to be there.

If there ever were two elections that need NOTA on the ballot, this one and the last one clearly qualify.

LOL, like his mentor, Obama. Of course Obammy's opinion hasn't changed at all, has it? Obamney is a Neo Con and Obama is a full blown socialist. Neither worth a $#@! as far as I'm concerned.

I know. It's going to be another dismal election. Neither of these individuals is going to stop the collapse of the U.S., one of them will make it happen faster which actually might be a good thing so we can get it over with.

I've been saying this for months, Romney will say and do anything to garner appeal. He truly is an etch-a-sketch, nobody has any idea what he stands for because what he stands for ebbs and flows with popular support.

The only reason this guy is getting the nomination is because he's viewed as the strongest candidate who can beat BO.

That's it, there's no other reason to support this guy. None whatsoever.

well there is another reason.... the true establishment of the GOP isn't going to waste money and muddy up one of its real power players (think Jeb Bush) in an election they already conceded isn't winnable. The reason they know that is that the recognize Obama isn't a threat, all the evil memes are creations by the right. Wall Street and businesses in general are quite comfortable right now, they know he's no threat and has been very business friendly. All the horse$#@! about socialism was meant to scare ya all into ousting him and giving the Repubs power again and don't get me wrong, they take it happily if you can muster it.. But they aren't panicked. Jeb Bush will run in 2016 when he's assured a win and he won't be saddled with this sluggish economy. They really don't give a chit about Romney, Grover Norquist practically called him a pen holder

Wall Street is comfortable because of quantitative easing. That will run out. Business is not comfortable. They still don't know how bad Obamacare and other regulations will hurt them.
