An appointee of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at the center of an apparent plan to engineer a monster traffic jam as an act of political payback was held in contempt today after he refused to answer questions from state lawmakers.

The appointee, David Wildstein, invoked the Fifth Amendment, which offers protection against self-incrimination.

“On the advice of counsel, I assert my right to remain silent,” he said repeatedly at the hearing, convened by the transportation committee of the state Assembly.

this will piss the courts off? but they can do little about it!

    Because that's all ya got.
And conservatives rejoice! Maybe we will not have a rino running and actually be able to vote this time!

You have an old lady with a hot temper that like lying lip to lap with other women, and admitted that she treats wars and the lives of soldiers in a political light and not as a commander and was the one that let the ambassador and his staff be murdered in Lybia

We have a Hispanic that is very popular and will steal much of the minority vote and was have a semi libertarian that will take the youth vote

    What else have you got!

Today was the first day I really saw Christie in action. I don't see why anyone thought this guy was presidential run material. He's way too gruff. That may play at the local level. Not nationally.

That said. He's lying through his teeth. But of course he has no choice.
    Not Debatable.

Yeah uh huh ... you've got to go ..

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie denied knowing about a scheme orchestrated by his administration to bully a local political rival, calling the reported actions of a top aide "unacceptable."

    http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2...e-scandal?lite

Christie said he was previously unaware of apparent actions taken by his deputy chief of staff to orchestrate the controversial closure of local access lanes to the congested George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, N.J., in the midst of a re-election campaign.

He vowed to hold members of his administration accountable.

"What I've seen today for the first time is unacceptable" ... Christie said in a statement.

"I am outraged and deeply saddened to learn that not only was I misled by a member of my staff, but this completely inappropriate and unsanctioned conduct was made without my knowledge."

The action prompted massive traffic gridlock in the city on its first day of school.

Can Christie be impeached? Probably if that's what the King wants. Can Obama be impeached for Fast and Furious, IRS targetting Obama Enemies, NSA eavesdropping on, well, everyone, the DOJ wiretapping reporters to find sources, for the childish reactions from Obama when he shut down the government and held elderly tourists hostage, for lying repeatedly to get Obamacare passed, for the deaths of four men in Benghazi, for attacking whistleblowers in the government, from the missing $76,000,000 in IRS Obamacare rollout slush fund, for the $1,000,000+ party for the IRS where they didn't keep receipts, or how about simply for administration members who refuse to testify or produce requested document to Congress with impunity?

No, of course, the King can't be impeached but I'm sure if he wants Gov. Christie can be.

Who in the Obama administration has plead the 5th over and over and over unless granted immunity from criminal prosecution like Christie cohort David Wildstein ?

Chris Christie should be taken into custody, frog marched into Ft Lee's main square and shot by firing squad by Mr. Richard Fader.

I am certainly glad we have people like exotix and cigar looking out for all of us and knowing everything that goes on seconds after it happens.

After all, Ft Lee New Jersey is such a well known place we should have all known everything immediately.

I would not let this play out and have the actual truth known, that would be wrong.

Ft. Lee has a billion-dollar restoration of an industry that has been dormant for 45 years ... it is located at the foot of the bridge ... this did not sit well with Christie and his 6th century ho's of inquisition & repression ...

So it's a good thing a terrorist action requiring a mass-movement across the bridge didn't happen ... like on 9/11.

Yes, because road cones would have stopped people from responding to a 9/11 type attack. /s/
