I'm thinking, probably not. People are becoming tired of their cities placing illegals ahead of legal citizens.
I think, those who want to support illegals, should write personal checks, make it a, voluntary type thing...it isn't fair to force the taxpayers to support people who are here illegally.

I have always maintained that the nationalization of immigration policy is inconsistent with the original intent of the US Constitution and that the status of immigrants ought to be determined at the state and local level.
Not only is this consistent with the legal originalism of the founders, but it is a wise policy, since communities are in the best position to judge how well a given individual is assimilating culturally.
This is how the Swiss do it, for example, and they have virtually no problems with mass immigration or culture clash.

I'm fine with the practice of sheltering the immigrants from federal officials. It's the hypocrisy I find intolerable. Because it's Democrats who are always quick to remind everyone how the federal government is "supreme" and that sovereignty at the state and local level does not really exist in any meaningful form. Apparently, they are willinfg to make a very big exception for people who are not even technically Americans. Fancy that.

He's a Democrat.
So if you break a law he agrees with, then you're a traitor and a criminal who probably deserves to be thrown in prison or shot down by armed government agents.
But if you break a law he doesn't agree with, then you're a courageous individual who is engaged in righteous civil disobedience and you deserve our respect and protection.
