To me, it's pretty simple, all adults should have the same rights. The state doesn't really have the right to set age limits, to do is basically circumventing certain amendments and/or laws in the first place. If the state has the right to set the age to drink or own a gun at 21, ignoring the age of the majority, 18, then they have the right to set it at 35, or 50, or even 80, which basically usurps said Amendment or law in the first place.
It's pretty simple, if 18 year olds are still kids in the eyes of the state, then an effort needs to be made to change the age of the majority to 21.

Right. I think that's a tad ridiculous, but then again, I think 21 being the drinking age is just as absurd. It's either they're kids or they're not. 18 or 21, in any case, the state needs to make up their minds, because the inconsistencies are absurd and not Constitutional, not that they care about that goddamn piece of paper to begin with or anything....
