The idea of some being watching and judging everything we as humans do is not backed by science in any way. This idea that humans are the center of the universe is not backed by science.
I have to explain why believing in irrational, illogical things is irrational? Really?I don't but go ahead and explain why it's not rational
Sorry--but I do not accept the idea that being intolerant of intolerance is THE SAME THING as being intolerant of anything else.
How could science ever support or undermine such a belief? It is beyond the purview of science. As for humanity being the center I'm not sure what belief you're referring to.
Such reasoning is circular.I have to explain why believing in irrational, illogical things is irrational? Really?
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Why this need to believe that rational human impulses of security, human interaction, basic survival, and the emotions of hope and spiritual need cannot occur without religion?
All religion is is a metaphor and framework for what happens anyway. And it happens increasingly in more enlightened communities and countries without religion becoming involved at all.

Come sit down beside me I said to myself
And although it doesn't make sense
I held my own hand as a small sign of trust
And together I sat on the fence
Anon. Very anon.

Your belief in God puts humans at the center of EVERYTHING. To have a Biblical view of god, one has to believe that humans are the center of the universe, or at the very least, the center of God's universe, particularly if you think he cares how each and every one of us live our lives and cares what we think about.
2+2 does not equal 3.Such reasoning is circular.
