Sounds like a great idea for hoplophobia, start by showing them pictures of a gun, you then see an unloaded gun in a cage. The day you fire one in the woods or range, you are cured!

Or maybe it was because we studied the plague so often in school. Don't know. I will crush them. You will not ever get that impulse out of me.

Yes, you did make another (misinformed) statement about snakes.
Some snakes eat eggs. Did you forget those? Plus snake populations can get really out of hand and show up where you don't want them, like in your house. Give it up Resister, this isn't a treatise on snakes.

What North American snake eats eggs? Tell us again how no constrictor is native to the USA.

You telling me to give it up is funny.

As the superior academic liberal, you cant stand the idea you are not the expert on every subject, can you?

Unless your house is a third world, drafty shack full of rats, I have never heard of a house having a snake problem.

The plague occurred because Europeans were really filthy people once upon a time. They dumped their waste into the streets and their garbage everywhere, including every canal and river and they rarely ever bathed. They created a very rich environment for rodents who multiplied by the millions and became infected by a disease born of fleas that came off of ships from Asian rats.

The domestic rat population is tiny by comparison to that time and they are not carrying the plague.

    1. Down the road from Lord and Lady Bethere is the ancient Great Serpent Mound, a giant snake eating an egg.

Some snakes have a cycle, like this:

That's nice, aside from blogs and wives tales, no snakes in the USA are verified egg eaters. Egg eaters are very specialized species that must regurgitate the shells. Ask Dr Who if any constrictors are native to the USA *hint* she changed her tune after she goggled her erroneous claim.
