That means gas down the road is about $2.80 right now because the neighboring state's higher tax rate keeps it consistently 50 cent more a gallon.
Your state must be exempt from "the highest gas prices since 2014" that Triple A is reporting

That may very well be why oil prices have been kept down. I personally think it was to decimate our domestic production industry, and it certainly has done that. This has pretty much been perpetrated by the Saudis. At least, that is my understanding.

Did an oil exec. miss a payment on the million dollar home he keeps for his second mistress or something?
I didn't believe oil and gas prices would stay very low.

    Why did you?

    Where are they going up?

The oil companies make an average of just a few cents a gallon. The US government is the biggest profiteer from the sale of gasoline.

Where? Have your local taxes gone up for them?

I know what I pay for gas. Maybe Charleston is an exception. Gas is cheap as is. I don't pay 4 bucks a gallon anymore. I don't pay 3 bucks a gallon either. I pay $2.29 a gallon.

I never did. But there were those who said that ecconomics dicatated that it was so. In fact I had thought you had agreed with them but apparently not.
