Look dumbass, I'm not the one claiming we don't have 3 equal branches of government. That's Cletus. So peddle your sanctimonious BS to him. He's claiming trump is a King not me.

I never claimed that the President is a king. I said the 3 branches of government are not "co-equal" and were never intended by the Founders and the Framers of the Constitution to be "co-equal".

That is an accurate statement. MMC's statement actually supports that position. There was no "sanctimonious bull$#@!". It was an attempt to help you clear up a common misconception.

It's amazing how not too long ago liberals had no problem with a president bypassing the congress and creating new law. That was an actual unconstitutional action, but it was no big deal.

I doubt that this will settle anything, but I'll try.

Do We Have Three Co-Equal Branches of Government?

I hear it all the time, usually when someone is talking about separation of powers in the federal government: They say we have “three co-equal branches of government”. It’s heard so often that no one even questions the statement. This may be news for you, but while we do have three branches of government, they are not even close to equal.

I don't need anything cleared up for me. You work on figuring out what you fought for. That seems to have stumped you.

Well, actually, Trish, he's not calling Trump king. I suspect that would be abhorrent to him. What he did point out is "specific enumerated powers and responsibilities" makes the branches unequal. Here's a video that goes into some detail about that and compares your view, shared by millions, with the Madisonian view:

Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire. ― Gustav Mahler
