If other customers are undisturbed while waiting for friends and given permission to use the restroom in the meantime, why were these gentlemen both given the bum's rush and made the focus of a trespassing complaint, when they were not creating a disturbance and made it clear that they were awaiting a third?

Not to long ago a Starbucks refused to serve 2 Police Officers,the police didnt start any problems, they werent causing a commotion, there were there to buy coffee and they were profiled and subjected to bias

Why couldn't the two men, simply have ordered something? A coffee, to sip, while waiting?
Because, by then, it had become a matter of principle.
I think, the manager, or whomever it was, got a little 'concerned' and reacted badly.
Once the police were called, they had to come to a resolution.
I understand about it being a business and, the owners don't make money if people aren't buying anything, but, I've gone into eating establishments and have sat, waiting for another person, without being thrown out by the police. I've always ordered something to drink, though, while waiting.
