I'm giving you a LEGIT charity abuse to complain about, instead of the HIGHLY BENEFICIAL (to St.Jude's ) Trump fund raiser....

Legit by your standards or the author's standards? The topic of my discussion is Eric Trump's inability to be truthful. The point about the charity is secondary.

Your answer to any negative or unflattering reporting about President Trump and his family is to invoke the Clinton's. If you're trying to convince me who is worse then you'd lose the argument because my position is they're both bad. My loyalty is to the country first not one man or woman and certainly not any one party. The issue drives how I lean with my support.

Eric owes nothing to the media, and was unaware of the specific costs when asked; hardly a "lie"; like "you can keep your doctor"= A LIE.

And his benefit benefited the charity intended.

That document also shows that the president’s son lied to the press about how his organization spent its money.

The Eric Trump Foundation, which changed its name to Curetivity in May 2017, hosts an annual invitational at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York, where the president’s son previously claimed the charity could use the course for free. “We get to use our assets 100% free of charge,” he told Forbes last year. The filing shows that the charity actually paid $99,000 to the golf club for goods and services it claims were worth $184,000.

Another $13,000 went to Trump Golf Links Ferry Point, a nearby course that hosted additional golfers for the annual fundraiser, according to the document. Trump SoHo, where the charity had previously offered shuttles to attendees, got another $23,000. And the president’s Florida club Mar-a-Lago got another $11,000 for goods the charity claims were worth $47,000. The charity said the goods and services rendered were worth more than the amounts paid. Altogether, those payments add up to a total of $145,000 from Eric’s nonprofit charity to his family’s for-profit properties in 2016.

It looks to me like the course was free. Then additional money was spent on goods and services- at a discount.

I would like to know the specific question that was asked of him.

My dear, if you haven't noticed yet, our right wing members will defend Trump and his progeny to their deaths.

It's never been about the truth, morality, what's good for the country or anything other than power.

Why do people resent celebrity status or free passes?
