This is the first TPF thread in several days that I've had any interest in responding to. As others have noted (in so many words), when most every new thread is just one more "libs are evil" circle jerk, and any attempt to respond rationally to the topic results in a dog-pile of insults and innuendo, why the Hell would one bother?.

Agreed. I find little need to participate in the childish insults of this forum. Even more insulting is that a certain mod takes it upon him/herself to target others based upon their politics.

Weighing in on this........It would be a different matter if a person "joins" a conversation with some sort of contribution to keep it moving forward, not drag it into the gutter or derail with insults and slurs with a first response reply. There are a few liberals in here that engage other posters legitimately, but for the most part, those that have been banned in the past cannot help themselves or resist the opportunity for insult, instead of engaging with some level of common intellect.
There are a lot of hot button topics discussed in here and it creates an air of animosity. But some devolve instead of evolving.
For example, guns...
A: "It is my Right."
B: "You're a fvcking moron and so is your mama."
That is not engaging in the actual point. The response requires no thinking or discussion. It is only designed (did I say designed?) to troll.
Here's the deal. Since the liberals lost the last election, it has only gotten worse, and so has the trolling. But it just isn't in here, it is across the forum boards everywhere. Some sites, big PF for example, it is run as a liberal forum where the conservatives are only given the very least amount of wiggle room and the liberals are unleashed. Liberals who migrate from boards where liberals rule, come in here and treat the members as they did in another forum and think they can get away with it.
Discuss the issue sensibly or leave. Do not attack the mods, NO family, and personal attacks. If not.................
