    In which country?
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

    Not true,

If it was true it would be wrong.

Don't go there. You don't know what is irresponsible behavior in every case. Lung cancer may be caused by smoking in some.. Yet nowhere near all smokers get lung cancer. How do you decide that? Overweight people are more likely to have a heart attack but underweight people have them as well.
We can't allow the government to decide this.

In the internet age that should be possible. All persons have a unique voter i.d. debate and vote on the issues. We could eliminate congress. Unfortunately if something passed that the other side did not want to pass there would be shouts of China and/or Russia hacking the system and changing the results.

I consider smoking and drinking irresponsible behaviour when one knows the risks involved and yet one still partakes. I knew the risks and I didn't care.

I smoked for 50 years. I knew the risk. I know I don't have lung cancer. You can't say smoking causes it since I don't have it and haven't smoked for 7-9 years. I am part of a medical study that uses MRI's to check.

Now, what id I develop lung cancer? It couldn't be from smoking. We can't base healthcare on possibilities. That sounds like a cheap way to cut premiums and get rid of people.

I believe ecigs to be an alternative to smoking that should be embraced by all. None of those, "No Smoking Not Even ECigs" signs. It is water vapor.

Being it is water vapor it does not cause the harm that the carbon monoxide from inhaling a burning plant causes.

Oh but there is still the addiction to nicotine. Yes. But depending on where the liquid is purchased it costs far less to feed the addiction than cigarettes. Cigarettes which some states tax at rates that have to be well over 100%.

Ecigs have another advantage. You are not bound by the flavor of tobacco. Today I ordered some that is Egg Nog flavored and some that is Pina Coloda flavored. My last order was Horchata (Hispanic drink) flavor and vanilla.

Unfortunately if "Big Tobacco" has their way and can pay off enough politicians the price of ecigs and taxes on them will probably mirror those of conventional cigarettes because "Big Tobacco" does not want to lose money, some have even entered the ecig market.

    You're lucky.

you can't say smoking causes it since I don;t have it and haven't smoked for 7-9 years.
Yes, you can still say it causes cancer, just not universally, and in that respect, I believe no-one ever did.

I am part of a medical study that uses MRI's to check.
Cool! I'd like to be a part of a similar study.

Now, what id I develop lung cancer? It couldn't be from smoking.
    Is that a given?

All healthcare and illness prevention is based on possibilities and probabilities.
