I'd use thermobaric weapons instead... big ones, in strategic locations where there are large and significant military and/or infrastructure installations. "All the destruction; none of the radiation!" Avoiding the use of nuclear weapons, per se, would also contain the worldwide PR backlash....
Israel will have to make those first strikes on Iran powerful and decisive... they can't get bogged down in any kind of drawn-out conflict because they simply don't have the resources or the "reach" to prosecute a C4I war against Iran, and no other kind of force projection is feasible. Moreover, the Israelis have to keep an vigilant eye on their "back door" with Egypt, which, thanks to the Obama regime's blundering idiocy throughout North Africa, cannot be trusted at all....
Onward, to 2020!
