    When I was working in El Centro, California one of my co-worker's dogs bit a mail person. Though the mail person knew the family and did not want to make a big stink about it the U.S. Postal Service got all $#@!y. Not sure if it cost them any money but they had to make sure the dog was restrained when the mail person showed up.
