I agree with that, but a military confrontation is inevitable. Based on my experience living there for more than two years, I believe the North is not nearly as capable as they want everyone to believe.
Their forces have virtually no combat tested experience. They are not trained to handle the type of battle they would be forced to face. It is possible that they could lash out in desperation, but that would lead to the complete elimination of their society.

North Korea is eventually going to have to be dealt with and diplomacy is not going to work with them. Obviously at some point a military confrontation is unavoidable. It's just a matter of when and who initiates it.
