What about those who will require it soon? A lifetime of paying an earmarked fee promised to take care of us in our old age.? A fee separate from taxes, not meant for the general fund. A fee of 7-8% for decades? What about us. I think you may see AARP become a one issue bee hive that politicians would do well not to piss off.

This election just increased my property taxes $60 a month. These taxes hurt the retired on fixed incomes and often forced them to move out of houses they have lived in for over 30 years.

People are sick of politics as usual but have no understanding of what to do. Therefore they change out congressional control but have only voted out one of the last 5 presidents. And not because the other four were all doing a good job either.
They voted in Trump because he was different but still had a name and a party affiliation that the media had crammed down their throats. In fact he has a history with both "major gangs".
They are ready for change but uncertain how to or unwilling to put the research into how to properly go about it. But they'll get there eventually and send the donkephant packing

It will go into effect for a younger age like it did when Reagan did it. I was less than forty when they raised the retirement age.

I wouldn't kick AARP in the ass. They approved and worked to get the ACA passed which stole 700 billion out of Medicare. Why would you think I like them? I don't know of a single thing they have ever done for me.

The media lying, democrat politicians raging and ranting, all had their base whipped into a frenzy. Also illegal voting had an impact how big who knows.
