Kaepernick To Work Out For Teams This Weekend

I wonder anyone picks him up?

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...ta/2580512001/

The NFL has arranged a private workout for free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick in Atlanta this weekend, a person with knowledge of the arrangement confirmed to USA TODAY Sports. The person requested anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly comment on the matter.
ESPN was first to report on the workout.
The league sent a memo to all 32 teams Tuesday inviting them to the workout, which will take place Saturday and include a series of drills on the field as well as an interview. Videos of the workout and interview also will be made available to teams.
The session will be conducted by scouting personnel and will be private.
Several franchises, in part because of a rash of injuries to quarterbacks across the league, have looked into Kaepernick's physical shape. According to the person, Kaepernick's representatives discussed possible steps to ease Kaepernick's return to the NFL. During those meetings, Kaepernick's representatives stressed that Kaepernick is ready to work out and interview for any interested teams.
"I’ve been in shape and ready for this for 3 years, can’t wait to see the head coaches and GMs on Saturday," the quarterback tweeted Tuesday night.

Awesome, can't wait for the social cons here to hate the NFL again. Just Do It.

“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”

If a team determines that he's an asset for them and they sign him, I don't see the big deal.

I don't whisk him luck or bad luck. I have no issue with people getting another chance. I'm sure he's a better option than a few. Bears Fans would probably agree.

If he's good enough to be worth the trouble, he'll get signed. But if he performs like a mediocre backup, I doubt he'll get signed.

Ian "raport" is it? Reported that these try outs are for next year. I don't know if I buy that.
