Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.

I've come across similar board discussions a dozen times about life after death, and they never go anywhere.
One of the least worthwhile discussions one can get into, IMHO, and I'd also say that euthanasia reduces down to one fact: It's your call. I don't think that relying on someone else to make it for you, no matter who they are, puts you in a better spot.
I would make one other observation: MV, you seem bitter, and your soul seems empty. You can't experience spiritual communion and also insist that no such thing exists. That's very sad.
If you want a recipe, buy a cookbook.

It was an ignorant response to someone's concern. You don't have to be as ass wipe to him or Peter.
Your opinion of his immortal should was not the question. Being ignorant for its own sake is nothing to be proud of.
Now, quit defending yourself so hard. It doesn't work.
Liberals are a clear and present danger to our nation
Pick your enemies carefully.

Our right to die is inherent in our right to life.
I take it you don't like honest responses. Nothing will happen to Jimmy's soul as it dies with his body.
I specifically addressed both concerns.
There is no immortal soul.
The only one being an asswipe here is you. Get over yourself.

Your beliefs have nothing to do with the right we have to die. If you choose to live in pain because your Church, whatever that means demands it, that is between you and your Church.
You don't like my sensical answer to his specific question. I think deep down inside you know I am right. It scares you.
