    .
Christianity spread in the world by the example given to us by Jesus when he was sent here by the Father in Heaven to be savior of mankind:
    . .
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Really? There is little Christian fanaticism? Wrong and right. If you go to South America, Christian fanaticism with their evangelist churches is quite evident. Also, if you visit Christian African countries, too. In Occident, Christianity is kept in check through secular states. If the secularism was removed from the equation we would see, sooner than later a Christianity closer to the Islam in its radicality.

For example, we can see this in countries that were pretty secular like Syria, Iraq or Turkey where the Islam was kept in check, and people had high degree of freedom. Secular countries is what keeps religion in check and it does not spread.

Now, with knowledge and through secularism we can see how people is abandoning the religion. However, unfortunately, it looks like that people need to believe in ghosts. I don't understand that human obsession to believe in magic. Magic is not real. Whatever it is in form of god, reiki, homeopathy or the chakras.

It's a well know theory that has much more going for it than not. AND, I cited a source, so if you can't prove it wrong then it'll stand as fact.

Just fyi, the same source used in your post states, paragraph 3, "But nobody really knows exactly when Jesus was born".
"Christmas attacks"?? Spend some time reading the thread discussion instead of jumping to silly conclusions.

That's exactly what you mean and you've been proven to be ignorant on the subject of ancient historians and where modern historians drew much of their information.

So chalk this up up along with "estates" that you need to study on.

Nope: wrong again. See the Thread Title - once more. "Comparing and contrasting" is how one gets to the truth of a given issue; in this case "How Christianity Spread". Usurping pagan holidays is one way the Christianity controlled spiritual celebrations.

Yeah dude, you really need to read up.

    unbelievable...

From where does Christianity source it's teachings? "How did Christianity spread?"... remember? And I never "claimed" anything, I've repeated as an example, what is very well know as a working theory barring any other credible evidence to the contrary concerning the time of Jesus' birth. You've sited nothing. Your opinions on the matter are worthless.

You're both wrong: I've "claimed" nothing; I've shown factual evidence of the convenient timing of Easter over Pagan festivals of spring. Once again, you and your cohort have shown nothing to even come close to validating your assertions that I'm not correct.

PROVE that anything I've said is incorrect. Cite your credible sources.
