Donald Trump owns Freeport-McMoRan Inc. stock -- but given the size of his portfolio, he may not even notice.
Trump, one of many candidates for the Republican presidential nomination, included dozens of companies in his financial disclosure filed earlier this week.
Freeport (NYSE: FCX) was the only Phoenix-based company on the list, and his holdings were listed at between $1,001 and $15,000.
There were others among the holdings that had some local angels, though. Trump owns millions of dollars in Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: APPL) stock spread among different brokerages. Apple's working on a command center in Mesa, where it will run its data center operations for the U.S.
CenturyLink Inc. (NYSE: CTL), one of Arizona's largest telecoms, also was on the list, as Trump's tastes tend to run toward the blue-chip stocks.
Plenty of tech companies were on the list as well, such as Amazon, which has five fulfillment centers in the Valley, and Yahoo Inc. So was Boeing Co., which has operations in Mesa.
The Federal Elections Commission filing is an interesting read, detailing the billionaire's holdings as well as myriad companies he's involved with.
