    Initially he was insulted because a white woman had built it. Then he went there, met the woman, found she'd created a library on black history, that the slave cabin was part of that, and they talked and laughed and hugged and parted friends. He was the victim of his own assumptions, his own prejudices about the woman, like many here. Dialog eliminated all that.
