Both major parties and many of their supporters are complete hypocrites on most issues. I don’t like Trump, I won’t vote for Trump, I don’t know much about the DeSsntis guy, and if I lived there I probably wouldn’t vote for him, however, in my opinion any reasonable person who isn’t politically jaded or looking for political ammunition against a rival party would hear what he said and understand that he wasn’t calling the democrat a monkey or trying to make a racist connection. I grow tired of the constant search for political ammunition and the constant attempts to connect every thing to race. There ARE racists that support Trump and there ARE racists that call black people monkeys and make those connections, but at the same time there ARE black people that assume a racist connection to someone just because of the “R” after their name or even because of the color of their skin. Both of those points of view suck and are detrimental to our country and need to stop. The fact that Democrats jumped on this almost instantly shows me that it’s political. I remember a few ears ago a reporter got in trouble and was accused of racism for saying that a basketball player had a chink in his armor. A common phrase and an innocent use of it, but the player was Asian and people who look for racial connections jumped on it. There are so many people on both sides that are giving the middle finger to MLK Jr’s words about character over color. I am a whiter than white white girl from a whiter than white place. I get that. And I get that I may not recognize racism like others might who experience it first hand, but we’ve got to calm down with the witch hunts and the accusations.

Chloe gets it and should tutor leftist SJWs, if for no other reason than their own peace of mind.

It's too bad the candidates in these elections cannot talk to each other because the man interviewed in this video, Rep. Kionne McGhee has some valid concerns regarding how the two parties are going to come together to solve some things.

How long, in terms of what Mr. DeSantis said regarding "socialistic policies", that have not helped to the extent they could have, because the system has been broken for a long time, and it is time parties come together to solve issues?

Mr. Obama stated something similar so whose steps?

If the media wants to keep making a bigger deal regarding a comment that may be looked at from different avenues to the extent that a country burns because of it, that cities continue to suffer because of some of the policies because of trickle-down effects...

You did not see me say that what Biden said was not racist, but you did see me take you all to task for quickly jumping on Biden's words being racist, but not DeSantis's, which is the reason for the OP to create the thread in the first place, an attempt at a false equivalency.
Utter and complete nonsense. You are trying to change the subject because you can't give an honest explanation for Biden being passed off by you. No matter what else has been said bu anyone else, Biden made an out and out racist remark and you choose to let it slide.

It's obvious that you don't care about racism as long as it comes from the right. A liberal is allowed to say anything about blacks. There's the whole thing all wrapped up for you.

I don't know if it's willful ignorance or a lack of comprehension or lack or intellect that causes you to hide from the truth. The truth is that Biden said what he said and you don't care.

Before he can judge comments to be motivated by racism, he first must determine whether there is a D or R after the speakers name.
