It is impossible for both primary parties to see eye to eye when it comes to absolute power, as, there are only so many seats, and the teams are all organized into teams. This means they will always inevitably fight, yes? If they agree on something, it happens - progress. This is like both of them agreeing to build a road in a certain leaning city - this only happens if it benefits both of them, or, they will fight over it, yes? This means, time, time that could be used to accomplish more, is wanted. Therefore, it is good to agree on many things that are mutually beneficial.

There is no conspiracy, as, there are only so many resources. Politics is about concessions. Politics is about power through providing.

Actually politics in America is about bribing the vote with taxpayer's money, corporate and social welfare, power by controlling the media, the national debate, ballot access laws, all of the special interest money and forcing the taxpayers to finance their private party primary elections.

No no offense but, part of the reason "third party" candidates don't play well is due to their supporter's over the top rhetoric. "Anal rape"? And let's be honest, when you say "third party", what you really mean is, Libertarian Party. Right?

Political parties are nothing less than corrupt special interest. Most of the founders hated and feared them and wrote disfavor of them. Washington refused to be identified as or labeled as a member of any party and warned the nation about dividing themselves into parties.

You won't vote for a 3rd party because they can't win, and they can't win because you won't vote for them because they can't win and they can't win because you won't vote for them.
