First of all Lexington VA is somewhat out of the way and off the beaten path. Its a small town. My feeling would be how many other people feel the same way about President Trump and after driving 30 miles out of the way would not serve me dinner. I'm sure all of the establishments are not as stupid as this woman but how do I know which are and which aren't? These small towns tend to attract like minded people who all have a cult of superiority. I've been to Lexington, I won't go back.

As far as the incorrigible liar statement all I can do is point at you and laugh uproariously

I don’t take any position. It seems as though this entire town is suffering from the TDD idiocy of one establishment.

I'm sure the other businesses in Lexington are praising her bravery and willingness to put them all out of business.
The owner does have the right to refuse service, but she doesn’t have the right to be exempt from the consequences of her decisions.

The town could easily fix the problem.

Burn down the Red Hen, tar and feather the owners and put them facing south on a northbound mule headed out of town. Do that and put it on YouTube and business will pick right up.

Certainly Dangermouse knows this well, the breakdown was the same concerning the Brexit vote. Now....if a small town in middle Britain refused service to a 'leave' voter it would have much more effect than had it happened in Soho.

Apparently the people that live there think so. Why do you liberals fail to see reality?

Since i have a wide range of choices in where I go and where I eat I don't see why I would go there. I'd not do it because of this alone. To hell with them is my motto.

I believe some PR could be gained on both sides should Sarah return with her family(all were asked to leave) and ask for a table. The Owner could redeem her idiocy and do the right thing, Sarah could be gracious rather than rubbing her error and classless antics in her face.

actually, Sanders was very gracious when they were asked, or ordered, to leave. That had to piss the owner off because he was probably expecting some sort of altercation..........
