You are trying to hard. Nothing anyone on here says is going to shut me or any other adult down from discussing what we want. That only happens to the weak minded. I am not interested in parsing language and if the right language is not used some how considering it "bad faith" posting

Using "some" instead of "all", "sometimes" or "often" instead of "always", etc., isn't parsing anything or being shut down; it's being accurate in your writing and - more importantly - in your thinking.

I love the ones who generalize from a single instance to the whole.


Still, there's value in generalizing tendencies. Liberals see the world one way, conservatives another doesn't mean all but expresses tendencies. Objections to that should be great places to open discussion.
