I have used Asics for years. Nikes don't fit me well.

My wife discovered the new set of sandals she just bought were Nike's. They are gone. She bought them last week end. I don't wear Nike, too expensive for just a pair of shoes. I think I have a pair of underwear that is Nike but since they reside around my ass I might just keep them.
I use different brands for different activities. My Nikes happen to be the most comfortable airport shoe and I travel enough that I'll be sad when they start showing too much wear. They're getting there.
That said, the people burning their expensive Nike products ought to think about donating them to charity so that people who can't afford shoes could have shoes.

That's what I was thinking, honestly. Looking at these videos of suburbanites burning their brand name apparel in their back yards, I have to wonder if they've ever stopped to consider how this looks to poorer people who maybe can't afford Nikes or back yards.
Next perhaps it will be the great Cadillac boycott of 2018.
