The media is already started analyzing the recovery effort. They can't even wait until it actualy hits land.

As American lives once again hang in the balance, it’s clear that Trump’s focus on his own imagined accomplishments is a distraction from his political incompetence, with what seems likely to be fatal results.

I remember a hurricane in the past which was on its way to the Florida keys, but it first was going to pass over Cuba.
Fidel Castro got out on a rocky ledge overlooking the ocean and shook his first at the looming hurricane warning it to stay away from Cuba. It didn't work, but American liberal's thought that was a courageous act showing outstanding leadership ability. They said he was reassuring the Cuban people that a strong leader was in charge.
Maybe Trump should try that?

Caligula once had his warships attack a raging storm in the Atlantic. Although many ships were lost he claimed to have recovered much wealth Neptune had taken from lost ships in the past (he actually recovered the gold and jewels from his officers who had killed by "fighting" Neptune. Perhaps Castro was just following "Little Boots"
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.
When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.
And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.
War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.
