Ruth Bader Ginsburg blasts Brett Kavanaugh hearings as 'highly partisan show

This says it all about the clown show the democratts put on

    Supreme Court
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Wednesday criticized the Senate hearings for Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh and lamented that the confirmation process had devolved into a “highly partisan show” since she was confirmed in 1993.

“The way it was, was right. The way it is, is wrong,” the 85-year-old justice said during a discussion at George Washington University Law School, prompting a round of applause.

    Justice Ginsburg
was confirmed to the bench by a U.S. Senate vote of 96-3, two months after she was nominated by then-President Bill Clinton. The liberal justice said Wednesday that the “atmosphere” back then was “truly bipartisan.”

“The vote on my confirmation was 96-3, even though I had spent about 10 years of my life litigating cases under the auspices of the ACLU,” she said.

“No senator asked me any questions — not about that,” she said.

Justice Ginsburg also noted that the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was confirmed 98-0 despite his conservative leanings.

    Well,
What more can you say when an ACLU lawyer gets 96-3 and now criticizes the actions of the Senate..... Something has to change

Stop with the public hearings, eliminate the television cameras, take away the opportunities for Senators to grandstand. Take away the opportunity for protesters to grandstand.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

    Justice Thomas, too.

Clarence Thomas takes jab at Cory Booker over 'Spartacus' comment

"Honorable -- if we could use that word about more people who are in public life, people who actually ask the questions at confirmation hearings, instead of 'Spartacus,'" Thomas said during conversation with the the Federalist Society's Leonard Leo last week. The conversation was aired on C-SPAN Wednesday and was filmed at the inaugural Gregory S. Coleman Memorial Lecture.

The audience and Thomas both laughed following the comment.

Firstly, she looks awfully frail, I wish her well.

Lastly, Feinstein comes at the last minute with some charge from high school against Kavanaugh....not going to reveal her sources, not going to make charges, just 'it may' have something to do with 'sexual misconduct.'

Imagine any Senator......coming in at the last minute....to claim sexual misconduct against RBG from high school during her nomination Hearings. No one could imagine that. Today....with the Lefties running the circus, this effort by Feinstein is attempted. Have they no shame?
