Sen. Feinstein Defends Handling of Kavanaugh Allegations

Senator Feinstein was given information about Judge Kavanaugh through a third party. The Senator took these allegations seriously and believed they should be public. However, the woman in question made it clear she did not want this information to be public. It is critical in matters of sexual misconduct to protect the identity of the victim when they wish to remain anonymous, and the senator did so in this case.

So...it's critical and what not that....in 'these matters' of sexual misconduct....to protect the identity of the 'victim' when they wish to remain anonymous, and the good Senator, why, she kept the 'victim's' identity secret.

Feinstein's charge is that a woman who will remain anonymous has made allegations against Kavanaugh and thus we cannot possibly have Committee nor full Senate votes.

One of the lowest and most weasel like political endeavors, making an asshat of herself is Senator Feinstein. Anyone would take this seriously is a complete sheeple.

If it were really true, Sen. Feinstein could have easily revealed this matter this past summer. Instead, she waited until the eleventh hour, in a desperate attempt to derail Judge Kavanaugh (or, at least, to grandstand for her political base).

If the alleged woman or girl truly wanted to remain unknown why did she send it to Feinstein in the first place.

If Fiendstein (sic) truly did wish to honor the alleged woman or girl's accusations why did she give the info to the FBI and why did she publicize it to the world?


Does anyone other than the most partisan of partisan hacks actually believe any of this is true. We have had Clarence Thomas maligned and Roy Moore ruined because of 11th hour "exposes" of sexual misconduct. Other than the usual gang of idiots does anyone truly believe this?

It's just the perfect narrative for the media and the Left. Feinstein the posterchild for how this works. In 'these matters of sexual misconduct' it is vital that the 'victim's indentity' remain a secret. Right away, this is a sexual misconduct matter. The mere allegation and it can be anonymous, the person making the accusation shouldn't have to step forward, the accused not permitted to face his or her accuser you see.

The mere allegation because a Democrat got concerned was to believe this accuser....and then put a Supreme Court's nomination by a sitting President on hold because Feinstein calls it serious. This person under any investigation will have to become known to more and more people, there will have to be interviews of both accuser and any potential witnesses. Add to this fact that this was so serious it occurred while in high school. When Judge Kavanaugh was a f'n teenager.

I don't have two questions, I have no need to ask any questions. This is political hackery 101, Feinstein making a mockery of this process, Democrat protestors in the back of the room permitted to interrupt and scream shiit with Democrats and the Left including those on these boards encouraging it. Then wanting to be taken seriously when complaining about Donald Trump. Please.

Just a few thoughts:

(1) Presumably, next we will be dredging up the fact that Harry has been accused of dipping Sally's pigtails in the inkwell, back in the third grade.

(2) This allegation is, at best, a typical he-said-she-said case--not a provable matter.

(3) The usual principle of innocent until proven guilty has been turned--rather conveniently--on its head. At least, for charges of sexual misconduct.

(4) If Sen. Feinstein were really so concerned about this matter, she could have spoken out long ago. But she waited until maximum damage might be done, before saying anything.
