What do you think the problem is? Owners? Coaches? A curse on Cleveland?

At .500 I would think you would be cheering.

Between the Browns and LeBron leaving, it must truly suck to be a Cleveland sports fan.

The Browns would beat the $#@! out of the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are the worst team in the NFL. In just a couple of years, theve gone from one of the best to the worst. Tne Seahawks might not win two games this year.

They need to play the Seattle Seahawks. They’d kick the $#@! out of Seattle.

I can't get used to it. Mrs. U would tell you that if I don't go to the game, I turn on the TV, get frustrated, go out and rake leaves or something, wander in, get frustrated, go out and rake leaves or something, wander in, get frustrated, go out and rake leaves or something, wander in, get frustrated, go out and rake leaves or something, wander in, get upset . . . .for 3.5 hours. Here's a quote from our firm bio of me:

An avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and frequently broken-hearted Cleveland sports fan,
Dave is loyal and will always fight to the bitter end. You can often find him walking
the Courthouse hallways muttering to himself on Monday mornings in the fall about a
bad call or a blown play. Usually, by Wednesday he’ll have convinced himself that
all is well and that “we’ll get ‘em this week.”

I think that they have just forgotten how to win. I was at Kent State, as a work-study student athletic manager when they had the longest losing streak in the country in the early 80's. We lost in the most bizarre ways. They'd be up late and you'd see it in their faces. That's what we see here. It is what I saw on Sunday. You just knew it.

Well, I still love the Browns. I do. I cried like a baby when they left and was so happy when they came back. I was kind of Lebronned-out. There's so much drama there. Don't get me wrong, I'll miss watching him and what he does for our area, but there's a lot of drama there. The Indians are a great team to follow in a fantastic ballpark. The Buckeyes -- well, they're the Buckeyes!!!

You poor soul. While I have lived in NE Ohio for the better part of 30 years, and I love it here, I'm glad I came from somewhere else, and never had to be a Browns fan, lol. If it's any consolation, my old home team no longer exists (Chargers), but in a way I'm kind of grateful for that too. My mom was a YUGE fan and she's no longer with us either. With the state of the NFL today, I have absolutely no reason to be a professional football fan.

I wish you luck, and really do hope you get one before you go.
