Kavanaugh accuser Dr. Christine Ford lays out conditions for Congressional testimony

    Just In

Kavanaugh accuser testimony conditions, doesn't want to be in same room

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...ssault-n911706

    Who would testify first?
Would they be in the same room together?

These are among the issues Christine Blasey Ford's lawyer has raised.

WASHINGTON — Lawyers for the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh spoke with attorneys for the Senate Judiciary Committee and laid out conditions for her appearance before the panel, including not being in the hearing room with him and assurances that she will be safe.

In nearly an hour-long telephone call in which the Judiciary Committee staff did most of the listening, Debra Katz, an attorney for Christine Blasey Ford, went through a series of concerns and preferences should she agree to appear before the committee next week.

It's the first time Republicans on the committee have spoken directly with Ford's attorneys since she went public with the allegation against Kavanaugh on Sunday and the discussion seems to have thawed a stand-off between the two parties as to whether she would testify.

Christine Ford Legal Team Lays Out Conditions for Kavanaugh Testimony

    https://www.mediaite.com/tv/christin...ugh-testimony/

Ford has also made it clear that she wants to be questioned by senators rather than outside counsel, Borger noted.

According to CNN’s Manu Raju and Gloria Borger, that’s just one of the conditions Dr. Christine Blasey Ford would like met, per her legal team, as she does not wish to be in the same room with Kavanaugh if she testifies.

“One of the reasons I believe that she doesn’t want to be questioned by outside counsel is that she believes that senators should be accountable for the questions that they’re going to ask and that the burden should be on them to ask the questions they want to ask and not an outside counsel who is a professional at doing this and let them be accountable to the American public,” Borger added.

“She is going to be accountable to the American public for what she says.

They should be accountable as well.”

ONLY the Rodents would imagine that the Americans would put the deranged accuser in the same room at the same time as her victim.

She might flake out and attack him.

    Rodents are so stupid.

Also, since the broad is making the fake and empty accusations, she goes first.

Her victim rebuts. And he gets the chance to cross examine the lying c. The Americans on the Judiciary Committee will fulfill this role for him.

    Excellent.

Ted Cruz has argued cases before the Supreme Court.

Ted Cruz has prepared cases and testimony for trial.

Ted Cruz knows how to show that a witness is lying her ass off.

    Oh.

    Shoot.

And Ted Cruz needs to get some more air time to help motivate his voters this November...

...darn. Don't look good for the Easy Place To Cross The Water.

Mike Lee was an Assistant US Attorney. I bet he knows how to cross-examine a witness.

Yeah, the Americans don't need to hire Special Counsel to examine this witness at this committee hearing.

A Special Counsel SHOULD be appointed to investigate the whole Rodent-driven farce, though and then she'll be investigated.

There are two outcomes that are evident here.
That Ford is lying and Kavanaugh is telling the truth in which event Kavanaugh gets his Supreme Court seat. Or, that Kavanaugh is lying and Ford is telling the truth, in which event Kavanaugh gets his Supreme Court seat.
The outcome isn't in doubt and never was. It's the perception of the investigation into his appointment that is. And Kavanaugh already has all the conservative support that he is ever going to get.
It's after the vote is taken that the inquest into this administration begins. The Me Too movement has about six weeks to hammer home to any uncommitted voter that the committee members had preconceived judgements and are all men. They, however they choose to proceed, can't win in the court of public opinion and their demeanors will be tied into Trump's 'We have the best people'. What's obvious is all his best people, with one notable execption, are ass wipers. Either that or indictable.
The opposition to the current administration are going to have a field day. They too are going to lie and cheat and show they are just as effective as those who have manipulated voters to this point.
If nothing else, the next few weeks are going to be pure farce.

the "witch hunt" has been ongoing since Trump won.
inquest...........an appropriate word when you claim there is an inquest..........the Salem Witch Trials were merely inquests, too.
Don't wet yourself over that one. An inquest, indeed..................lol

The charge is a felony action. He has a Right to face his accuser.

Yep.....only the leftness would think they would be in the same room at the same time.

Grassley should just come out publicly and say. You don't get to make demands of the Senate. Oh and no Kavanaugh doesn't testify first. You do. You don't show for testimony, then you must be scared to testify under oath. And we all know why that is.

Yeah now her attorneys don't want her questioned by other attorneys. She must be worried about getting caught in a lie.

Here's the great part. Once this has been concluded, Ford will be dumped by the liberals just like the rest of those people they claim to care about. The most recent being Hogg.
Anyone know what happened to that six-figure a year executive that gave that Chic-Filet employee all that grief?
Ford, like all the rest, will be discarded after use. So, she's not taking a serious look around her.
