You have to keep in mind that it does not matter to some people what you actually say. All that matters to them is what they imagined you said. So even if you've never actually expressed any dislike for Jews as a people, it makes no difference to Israel's loyalists and apologists. They will still accuse you of being anti-Semitic because that's what they imagine you to be and because they have no real defense of Israel's aggressive expansionism. And there is really no point in addressing these types of people except in the most cursory fashion. It's far better to pretend as if they do not exist and to focus your energies on people who are not mentally imbalanced and pathologically dishonest.
